This new museum gives visitors the opportunity to interact with art works created at the Museum of Ice Cream. This is the chain’s second location in Austin, which opened on August 21. Walking through the museum, you will come across an impressive collection of desserts-themed imagery. MANIC ENERGY is written in magnetic letters on a wall in one of the rooms. Cocktails and Creams, a 1950s-style diner, serves soft drinks. In another location, you roll massive red foam dice in a faux-candy store and then fill them with Valentine’s Day candy. Staff members spin cotton candy right next to plush piatas as a cheerful staff member spins cotton candy.

At the Museum of Ice Cream, there may not be as much fun as you’d like. There isn’t much space in there, and it’s mostly indoors. The temperature inside was also quite warm, and it was stuffy when I went inside.
